I was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and from an early age I loved everything artistic. I took classical painting and drawing classes when I was really young and my parents encouraged this love by filling me with books about the great painters and sculptors of the Renaissance. I was also incredibly passionate about books and writing, filling card after card of my school's library and eventually writing my own stories and publishing four novels.
I have since worked in editing, marketing, advertising, animation and writing. It hit me that the one thing all these jobs have had in common is the telling of stories. I have a passion for characters, journeys, obstacles and the challenge of involving people in these stories, through art or words. My love for movies and television brought me to Canada to attend Film School where I learned to use the craft of writing and illustrating in a whole different world.
I love telling stories, I love creating and helping create things that will inspire others to continue to craft imaginary journeys and live through the books, movies and shows they love. I can't wait for the next few years of adventures!
